I'm selling a used Unichip Plug n Play Tuning Chip for '99, '00, '01 Porsche 996 3.4 liter. (NOTE : 88-Pin ECU NOT supported.)
Installs in minutes. Leaves no trace. Comes with two maps : a low octane performance map (91) & a high octane performance map (93), switchable from within the vehicle. I never dyno'd the car with it, but my Butt-dyno felt the difference: more power, flatter torque curve and better gas mileage. Fully tuneable by a Unichip Custom Tuner for customized add-ons.
Included is the Unichip module with wiring harness, instructions, and warranty card in original packaging. Installation is very simple with basic tools and can be done in about 30 minutes.
PM if you are interested or have any questions. Paypal preferred. $575 new, asking $400 shipped (purchased in Dec '12.) Located in Baltimore/DC area.

According to the website, yes, as long as you have e-gas and not a cable throttle. See http://www.unichip.us/vehicle/vehicl...96-34-34-Liter

If you look on the right side of the throttle body, you can see the difference. (Sorry, I borrowed the photos from someone else -- ignore the hand.)
Both photos show the throttle body with the hose from the airbox removed.
This shows a large silver enclosure. That's an e-gas throttle body.
This shows where the cable terminates for cable throttle body.
In general, I think 99 C4s had e-gas, but best to double check. You can also write to UniChip and they'll tell you.
