History
One of 15 factory Cup cars made in 1993, the car started its career by winning the inaugural Supercup series, driven by Altfrid Heger. I purchased the car in 1999 here in the US and have raced in Porsche Club and NASA events. The same local Porsche racing shop, Game-Face Motorsports, has professionally maintained the car for the entire period. The car crashed at Laguna Seca in 2000. A new front clip was installed and we returned to racing the following season. In 2008, the car’s racing budget disappeared but it has continued to be well maintained at the shop. Additionally, it has a freshened suspension and a new fuel cell. The car is ready to race today.
