Must have options for GT3 Touring
I MIGHT be having an allocation for a GT3 Touring... so trying to spec it, with bare minimum that I want. Right now plan is to buy and keep as long as I can financially afford it, but if my circumstances changed (AI, etc...), I will have to sell it. I'd be financing it partially.
Is there an option that is a must-have (never driven any of these cars). Specifically,, the following (add yours)?
1. Color...
Not getting PTS, which color LOOKS the best on these cars? I am skipping white/black, so brighter silvers, or colors. My top three are Oak Green, Lugano Blue, and GT Silver
2. Adaptive vs. Bucket seats
If it was GT3 with the wing, I'd 100% get the buckets... but is this bucket comfortable for long road trips, etc... I have the old 997 buckets and they're good AFTER you get in, but not easy to get in/out. Would it hurt resale if not getting bucket?
3. Front wrap
Get the Porsche one, or local? Not doing whole wrap, just front
4. Motorsport Decorate Sticker set
Yay or nay?! I would never get it for a non-GT3 car, but wouldn't it be cool for GT3 (albeit Touring)?
5. HD Matrix Lighting
Is it worth the cost? I remember Nick Murray said for North America it doesn't make sense as full functionality is disabled
6. Brushed Aluminium Anthracite
I honestly don't understand what changes? Is the stock one BLACK? and this is dark Aluminium?!
7. Front Lift
Must have (or for resale)? or if you don't have a steep driveway stock height is ok?!
8. PCCB
I don't like the yellow (unless on green car), and long-term maintenance... is it a must have for GT3?
9. Bose
Is it really an upgrade? I skipped it in my 997 and didn't miss it, how much of a difference it makes in 992?
Thanks for your help!
Cheers!
PS. I am getting Leather dash, manual, and deviated stitching... those I am sure of, so didn't ask earlier.
PS2. I will track the car here or there but won't be a track car.

1. Color - get what you want. Just a note, white is one of the rarest colors in a GT3 Touring
2. Seats - if you are actually going to drive this car for many years, then sports seats (18/4 way) is the logical route. Buckets are not comfortable for long drives, but do hold you well in the seat on track.
3. Wrap - always local. The paint arrives trashed from the factory.
4. Stickers - not a fan on the Touring. Its your car, put all the bumper stickers and tattoos you want.
5. HD Matrix - I strongly dislike the standard light arrangement, so that alone makes the change worthwhile to me.
6. Interior trim - get what you want.
7. Front Axle Lift - you need this. Im the most diehard anti FAL person, and I realized I needed it.
8. PCCB - you can paint the calipers yellow, but replacement costs are massive for ceramics. I went with irons.
9. Bose - get Bose. Ride in any 992 with the stock stereo, Ive heard Temu Bluetooth speakers with better quality.

Hmm... rare white could be enticing... do like to stand out a bit more. What are the most popular non-PTS colors ordered (if we have any data on it)?!
1: GT3s look good in all the colours they offer - just pick the one you like. Oak Green is the most popular and might be the best for resale if that is something you care about. Lugano looks great on either GT3 - was my 2nd choice, but I stuck with Gentian because I like dark blue metallics.
2: Buckets probably have the best resale value, but sit in both the current ones if you can and decide then.
3: Like reloader said: always get wrap locally.
4: Whatever stickers you like. If you change your mind you can remove them.
5: year 2024+ HD Matrix are activated / fully functional here in Canada. I have them on my cayenne turboGT and don't want a car without them. (2023 HD matrix are not activated here).
6: Grey versus black brushed aluminum. (Anthracite is a lighter colour for the brushed aluminum)
7: FAL for resale and speed bumps / parking lot entrances.
8: I'm a big fan of PCCB (lack of dust and I think they look good). I specced black PCCB callipers for my GT3T. Not a must have though.
9: Yes to Bose, despite it not being awesome, the base stereo is much worse.

1. Color...Oak Green Metallic looks fantastic.
2. Adaptive vs. Bucket seats. Adaptive for your use and for a Touring. I have three GT cars, 2 with LWBS and one with 18 ways. If you are doing a daily driver or spirited fun, no need for LWBS and they are pain to get in and out of but everyone comes up with a system. They are surprisingly comfortable for long trips though and look better.
3. Front wrap. Get it done locally. Probably better and cheaper. I'm not sure how warranty works with these either if you get it from the factory.
4. Motorsport Decorate Sticker set. Nay. Just keep the GT3RS.
5. HD Matrix Lighting. I skipped it on mine but will have it on my incoming Cayenne. It's only because I don't drive GT cars at night.
6. Brushed Aluminium Anthracite. No opinion.
7. Front Lift. It is a must have for many reason. Resale and you just need it in some places that you don't anticipate. All 3 of my GT cars have this. Don't skip it.
8. PCCB. I don't have this on my two GT3s but have it on my Spyder RS. I wish I had specd these on all of them. Very nice, last a long time and there is no brake dust at all. Since you are not tracking it, I would definitely do PCCBs. Get them painted from the factory. I don't like yellow either but there are a lot of options now.
9. Bose. It's a major upgrade. More so with the modern cars. I would not spec it without these. No need for Burmeister IMHO.
Thanks for your help!
You are welcome. I love spending other people's money.
Edit: In addition to what you asked about, I would definitely get the leather option to include the dash. It looks so rich. Manual too.

EM interior is an absolute must (for me) on a touring. On winged and RS car not so much. It is expensive but worth it!
FAL yes
Bose yes even though it really isnt that great
PCCB yes just for the brake dust reasons. Ive had steels and never again!
18 way for touring IMO. Winged and RS buckets.
PPF locally so they can do paint correction and you have them nearby for any warranty items.

As for some of your other questions, HD matrix basically buys you a different look. Not sure about Canada where you are located, so maybe HD matrix is active there? It certainly isn't in the US.
Get the buckets if you are getting a black interior, otherwise the sofas are great with a non-black interior. (supposedly you might be able to order non-black with buckets now)
Front lift is not required, but nice to have.
PCCB is not required, but nice to have. It's super expensive for not getting brake dust. I got the gold wheels which didn't work with yellow calipers, so I paid extra for black ones lol
Bose is a decent upgrade over the stock radio. I'd get this if you listen to any music at all.
