Heads up regarding suspension arms
I strongly recommend reading through this thread on the 997 forum. Incorrect suspension bushing tolerances causing subframe tabs to snap off when torquing them down. This appears to be another outgrowth of the overall reduction of quality in automotive parts. "Trust but verify" has become "distrust and always verify"...

For example, when you select their 996 kits, this is one of the control arms. Scroll down and look at the fitment, fits all 996/997.

I ordered the Meyle kit from FCP euro for the front end and it came with 997 parts. Seems they are interchangeable.

MEYLE part 4160500028 is OK, not for 996
MEYLE part 4160500029 is OK and interchangeable.
4160500024 seems to be interchangeable but a previous version...
Also, aftermarket part manufacturers say they are interchangeable, but in the Porsche catalogues they have different part numbers, 99634105319 for 996 and 99134105319 for 997/991.
All these come from Autodoc, in any case we should measure the space as proposed...

According to the 997 thread, it looks to be that Meyle arms were out of stock and Hamburg Technic arms were sent instead. If I read it correctly, there is no issue with Meyle arms. It would probably be best to go to the 997 thread to follow along to get the info first hand.

But if you see the shared PDF, it is sent by Meyle headquarters. That thread has two issues uncovered the HT vs MEYLE and also this MEYLE alert. 2 issues relating to the same part but totally unrelated between them

Thanks for posting.
Reposting this from the 997 thread on this topic, hopefully it's helpful for anyone looking for clarity.
I bought the Meyle lower control arms the same month the NHTSA recall letter was released (Mar '25).
All four I received were part# 416 050 0029 which is the new 991+ style arm pictured below. As @GC996 said there doesn't seem to be any issue with these newer versions of the arms. I've driven 5k miles on them without issue.

@Ocean Blue Have you gotten your clunking issue resolved yet? Maybe it's those LCAs moving back and forth in your subframe.
