Default Chineseium - Post your best finds from China !

Edit added offsets below as they came out perfect with 305/295 setup.

For those of us with limited budgets that are impressed with Chinese manufacturing ! Post your best finds from China (Porsche/car Related in some way of course), Leave the politics out of thread please (you drive a German car).

I just purchased the below wheels with custom offsets I provided and their engineer reviewed. Motorsport gold and they look fantastic ! Vendor on Alibaba included titanium lug nuts and custom made to order center caps. $1600 Shipped for the set and the quality is fantastic. 23.5 pounds rear, 22.5 pounds front. They actually showed the wheels on a scale prior to my second 50% payment and were truly a pleasure to work with. Maxtera Industries Co., Ltd. https://x.alibaba.com/B1MhHG?ck=minisite

Things I've purchased from Aliexpress
-Apple car play board for PCM 3.1
-CHSTEK headunit - fantastic headunit but decided to go PCM 4.0 route
-VAS6154 Clone - To run PIWIS 3 on cheap laptop
-Porsche Key fob cover

All were delivered in a reasonable timeframe and no issues with fitment or quality.

AliExpress purchases:

Matrix headlights
Porsche Heritage Key
Android Head Unit
Shifter *****
Various FOB blades
Other sundry small items, like usb chargers, etc

Never had issues with any of the purchases, except maybe some small items that I returned and got immediate refunds for.

Did you replace the PCM 3.1 with a new PCM 4.0? If so how was the replacement?

Yes I replaced it with a PCM4. It’s definitely not plug and play. You will need to create and new wiring harness, modify the radio cage, flash the PCM 4 to remove component protection, and reprogram the cluster with a PIWIS. There’s a big thread in the 991 forum and a few YouTube videos by testdrivescotland.

Honestly, the CHSTEK is still lightyears ahead of the PCM 4.0. Larger, more responsive screen. It is an Android tablet and you can download all apps. Hell, I can stream Netflix while driving (I use my phone as a hotspot) if I wanted. I tested this in the garage.

I am not buying anything off of Aliexpress, etc. that could endanger me or those around me. Worked and lived in China too long. With that said, have purchased a CHSTEK head unit (LOVE IT) and a few minor cosmetic items such as CF side mirror cap replacements, CF side intake trim (981 Boxster), Key FOB cover. Purchased a CF exhaust trim surround that did not fit so not everything is a success.

Tailpipes
Dummy key
Window switch
Puddle lights

Probably a few other things I'm not thinking about. Nothing I can think of that affects vehicle performance or safety.
