Default Emden to US West Coast @ 2026
Following the usefulness of the 2025 thread, here’s one for 2026 so we can track shipments and commiserate while waiting.

I would appreciate it if someone would please add links to the west coast RORO shipping companies and schedules.

I have a Macan in the factory currently. Hopefully moving to Emden in the next week.

However, I can't find any info that includes Benicia, which is my landing port.

I found this by doing a google search: https://www.google.com/search?q=site...+schedule+2025 and then constrained the time to the last month.

That copy is nearly a month old and I can't find anything newer, I'd assume that the W1 2026 one will be posted in the next few days.

This is what I have been able to figure out so far.

NYK

Navigate to nykroro.com and select Emden for loading port and either San Diego or Benicia for port of discharge. Wild Rose leader in transit to SD (but not Benicia).


Neptune

Per the Emden port, there are two Neptune ships coming into Emden this week, but neptunelines.com is down, so I can't see if they are actually destined for west coast US.


Hyundai Glovis

Navigate to stenaglovis.com and scroll down to Europe to US West Coast to download the latest schedule. Triumph Ace is the next boat headed to west coast, but not until later in the month.

I don’t think Neptune does Emden <> West Coast.

I think only NYK and Stenna Glovis does.

My last car (Jan '24) came to SD on Neptune Barcelona, but very possible they are no longer used by VW group.

My 2022 Boxster GTS came via the RCC Europe in late 2021. I'm not sure which company manages that vessel. Google searches aren't providing me with a quick answer, nor is AI helping.

neptunelines.com is back online again. The service map shows Emden to US east coast, but they no longer go through the Panama canal.

Well, at least there are a lot more options. Too bad there were so few from December through Jan.

Seems pretty much guaranteed West-bound cars that are currently in Emden will be here by March.
