Default 991.1 Narrow Body - offsets for aftermarket wheels

I am shopping for a new set of wheels for my 991.1 Carrera S (narrow body). What are the perfect offsets to fill out the fenders without any poke?

I have searched and read just about every thread on this forum, and I am finding conflicting information. I have the Sport Design II wheels on my car. I haven't had a chance to take them off to confirm, but from all my research, I believe they are 8.5 x 20 ET51 and 11 x 20 ET70. While the front offsets on the wide body cars are the same, the rear offsets are ET52, extending +18mm out. Most posts here on the forum say this is too much, resulting in poke. However, I have spoken with an aftermarket wheel supplier who is recommending 9 x 20 ET36 and 11.5 x 20 ET48. Using one of the online offset calculator, this results in a +28mm projection in the rear. So, if +18mm is too much with a wide body offset, this has to be way too much. Yet, he suggests that this will result in a perfect flush fit. So, I'm confused.

Can you please share your aftermarket wheel setup with offsets and pictures? Thanks!!!

I just got a set of forged Rotiform TUFs on my 991.1 Carrera S with H&R sport springs, -1.5F and -2.0R degrees of negative camber. The Rotiform specs are 20x9+45 and 20x11+60. When i was running the stock Carrera Classic wheels, (Same spec as you mentioned above) I was running 20mm spacers all around. Making the Stock wheels 20x8.5+31 and 20x11+50. On the Rotiform's Im running 10mm front and rear, making them 20x9+35 and 20x11+50. Stock tire sizes on both (245/35/20 and 295/30/20)

Many wheel suppliers don’t have a good grasp of Porsche offsets and differences between wide and narrow body cars.

I can tell you from experience that for a 991, anything more than 10mm (vs stock) will result in the poke that you mentioned. This is for rear and assuming car has stock suspension. I wouldn’t do more than 7mm in front.

I have several sets of wheels that will fit your car. OEM Carrera S in black and anthracite and 20” OZ Ultraleggeras pictured below (which have 5mm more aggressive fitment than stock):

On a 991.1 NB, I like F: 20x9 +34-37 R:20x11.5 +59, lowered with like -2 camber this will give you the look you want without any rubbing or drama on 245/305 tires. No issues with the big N1 Cup 2's.

I had 20x9 +37 20x9 +59

On my 991.2 NB I have 20x9 +34 (-2.5 camber) and 20x11.5+67 (because its a 991.2)

Why not 11.5” in the rear?
