928 poster 1977 "Auto des Yahres"
Does anybody know of a vendor that sells (reproductions or original) sales posters from the early years of the 928? I would very much like this one but there are none out there (yes, i took this picture from the internet)

If you, or anyone else is interested, we do quite a bit of framing and thus shipping. We have “special” FedEx boxes to hold art that I could send you and provide a return label I could bring it in the shop, “disassemble” the frame, scan it in and walla, digital reprints. I’d remount your original, add the dust cover back on and everyone is happy…including me, as I’d like to have one too. Porsche would likely frown on this but it would be for personal use?? We work with old documents on occasion that need digital restoration. We can only scan up to 600 dpi but it may do the trick. If not, I know of other shops that may be able to scan at a higher resolution. Anyway, I thought I’d offer. You and others on this forum have helped a ton over the past couple years. It is one of the few ways I can give back.

Bought this at local Porsche club event auction here in Maine. Original owner was first 928 delivery in Maine back in 1978. Just about fit in back of my 928, unfortunately glass cracked transporting it home !

Shipping to the Netherlands would be near impossible, but without the frame it can be shipped rolled up in a poster tube or anything protective. I see triangular shaped boxes as well. Willing to pay for the service.

Or just figure out how to send you a zip file or something else that would work and have it printed locally.

Yep, no problem. We ship internationally as well. Use tubes and then usually a Fedex triangle box. It's in @Mark Anderson 's court now. LOL

Actually, there is one for sale in Europe:

If the link doesn't work, it's the item number 1086 of the next sale.
