Headlight bucket question

Headlight bucket question
Hi
I recently purchased a set of Morinmoto headlight for 1990 964.
When I removed my stock headlight, and I found no 4 screw tabs around the headlight bucket.
It seems the tabs were there before, since I can't find any trace of being cut nor trimmed off.
Aren't these buckets a stand style? or differ by option and region as we?
Any suggestion to resolve the issue?
Thanks

You have \H4 headlights as used in European/ROW cars. These bowls only have one fitting tab/screw at the bottom. (6 o' clock).

I am getting some idea now after the a short while of searching.
Wish they have clear explanation at product description page.
Guess I have to return the lights.....
Wondering any other headlight option for EURO/ROW?

One word of caution. I installed numerous Morimoto lights in my Ford Raptor. I was initially very happy until about a year later when they started to fail one after the other. Several were from poorly soldered connections others just quit slowly. I tried to contact them about it several times and got no response from them. The 4 tabs would be for US spec H5's only.

Thanks Cobalt,
After few searching from the internet.
I realize the difference tow different head light mounting options.
I have't installed them yet, but sent couple of emails to them about the issue and how to solve it, didn't ask any refund at all.
But like your experience, not reply after at all after two emails sent.
This make me wondering how come a company in such a scale will have this kind of customer service.
I really hope the method from YouTube will work and not ending up like yours in the future.

Thanks,
I have looked into the video, it seems can be fixed by your self.
But found there will some gaps around ring to the headlight because the inner surface of the ring has two protruded section for the adjustment bolts at about 1 and 7 o'clock location.
How do you manage them?
I think that may be the retaining spring has to be used as well.
Did you use the retaining spring?
Clearly it is not correct about the fitment from the description of Morimmoto website.
To be honest, after emailing them few times and no reply at all which really make me feel frustrated.

I have answered your question in another thread.
My tech did reuse some (not all from what I recall) original Porsche retaining clips. He also had to trim the headlight plastic housing a tiny bit near that protruding section, as otherwise the ring would not sit perfect.
I also had to rework the Morimoto harness a little bit - I had to put a 6.3mm spade connector on the right side:
This was all modifications we had to make on the ROW 964 - the US one was true plug and play.

Thanks,
I guess this is the only way at the moment to do it until Morimoto came up with proper solution.
Btw, did you use the retainer spring or clip to secure it?
Or just the ring and single screw at the bottom.
Thank

OE headlights have TWO rings: outer, which is painted in car color and inner, which is black and which is attached to the original Porsche headlight. You need to reuse BOTH.
The original headlight is attached to the black inner ring by a series of spring clips - we have replaced the headlight housing with Morimoto one and reused those clips (not all of them - I think sth like 50% of those as it is impossible to fit all due to a slight shape differencies).
Once the black inner ring is retained, the new Morimoto headlight assy mounts just like the original headlight.
