GTS 4.0 Sales Price
Any other GTS 4.0 buys get their vehicle purchased for under MSRP? I'm kind of wondering where the price point is at for others compared to what I purchased mine for. The dealership originally told me they would sell it to me for $5,000 over MSRP. I told them I wasn't interested at anything above MSRP. On the paperwork for the allocation they made me sign to a price saying "Market Price, not to exceed $5,000 above MSRP". I signed and figured that I could just not take the car if they were going to hassle me over the price. By the time my car came in (2024 Cayman GTS 4.0), the news was already out that the 2025 models would be ICE and not electric. The market seemed to soften up quite a bit since April so I decided to hold firm in the price negotiation. Long story short I ended up getting the car for about $900 below MSRP. I really have no idea if that is a good deal or not.

Yeah, I've never seen below MSRP, so you did great. With the latest price increases, they're a hard pill to swallow even at MSRP. My local dealer offered me one at MSRP, but decided to keep the SE order. They don't even sound nice anymore (probably due to EU noise regulations), so would have to spend several grand more on an aftermarket system, after the $27K extra for an identically equipped GTS. So basically 30 grand over an SE. The decision was an easy one. I actually think the little 2.0T sounds better than the 4.0 below 5K rpm, which is where it'll be driven the great majority of the time (especially being a turbo). Honestly, I was expecting demand to increase for '25 since it's the last year, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Well, they were WAY OVER that not long ago, so not bad at all, for those willing to pay it (I'm absolutely NOT one of those, on any vehicle). I don't think ADMs are over on GT cars; only on GTSs, which are NOT GT cars. Even the GT4 is not a true GT car in the eyes of some (including mine), due to its regular engine, but they're still selling at a premium too.

What trims make it to the end, unknown.
PAG discontinued Spyder, GT4, and T without notice.
If you want a GTS move now. There are about 200 dealers in the US start calling. Broker can get you one tomorrow
Good luck

Little over a year prior, large local dealer wanted $15k ADM for an allocation. Then $5k. A month later, they called me saying at MSRP but my wife was going under the knife at the moment so I said no. And bro, there are 5-6 Porsche dealers in my area. Come on.
I decided to stop waiting and playing allocation games and got a low-mileage CPO GTS 4.0 under original MSRP thats been sitting on the lot at a small Midwest dealer. 6000 miles and 8 track days later, never been happier. Not exactly my spec but it has all the essentials and I grew to love it.
What I’m trying to say is..if you see something you like, just get it. At the end of the day all these cars are the same, just little differences in doo dats and leather.

MSRP or slightly under is great IMO. Last year when I was looking for an allocation, I was asked for 10-15k ADM. Luckily, I found my used 2022 Boxster 25. I would have jumped at an allocation at MSRP and would have optioned the car exactly as I wanted in CR with the GTS interior package. But my CW car with the red interior (a color combo which was furthest from my mind) is also splendid. You did good so enjoy the car.
