Yes. I'd follow the maintenance manual. It's miles and time based.

You don't have to but it's good to maintain a yearly oil change. I only change mine once per year but then again I only drive maybe 3000 miles per year. I would if I were you

While I still do just to keep in sync with the onboard, degradation is a problem when you do lots of short trips only, time does NOT degrade oil (note filters won't last forever) so you can easily extend another year.

Another thought, Brake fluid flushes, In the old days brake fluid got changed (maybe) at brake shoe replacements...could be years... these days with much better systems and better brake fluids...every 2 years..??

the owner's manual says to do it. it's your choice to ignore that recommendation.

Brake fluid intervals are a combination theorical degradation in fringe cases and ensuring reliability of ABS systems. Most people can go longer, people who don't live near a mountain can probably get away with never changing it until their ABS pump gives out. In reality you want to really avoid wet fluid so you can get a tester but I would never go over 5 years (brake fluid does not circulate, testing at reservoir is only a limited indicator).
