Porsche 992.2 911 May Get a Manual Transmission After All

An article on Rennlist. That ends with the disclaimer that it is pure speculation. Not sure what is more clickbait, that article or this thread.

This was covered earlier. None of can predict the future, but it's believed a T will be released with manual as well as a possibly limited edition Turbo model. The manual will likely get dropped from the S if the S uses a hybrid boost similar to the GTS.

Gee I do hope a 992.2 T comes sooner than later with the manual gearbox -I missed out by a few days on ordering a 992 T manual late last year .

There will be 992.2 variants with manual transmissions, but unless Porsche is secretly planning to engineer a new manual gearbox, there won’t be hybrid 911s with manual transmissions. I wouldn’t hold your breath on a new manual gearbox for the Carrera given the abysmal take rate in the 992.1 generation.
All signs point to a manual being available for the Carrera T… and the take rate being as bad as it was for the 992.1 T.

I find it odd that owners would have a T as PDK-Why not just buy a standard Carrera ?
Reading an article from Motortrend they stated a 992.2 T was around the corner to be released !

I have learned the man plans and Porsche laughs. I would think if they can make it and it’s cost effective they would do it. I think since Porsche is public they think differently.

Per this article, it’s a 40% manual take rate. That’s not bad when you consider what the take-rates were from other manufacturers. Only a few exceeded the 50% take-rate figure based on that article.
