Rare spec 997.2 c2s manual with gt2 buckets. Paint is very clean, no accidents, no re-sprays. Paint looks great for its age and it does not have an excessive amount of rock chips. Everything functions perfectly, no issues. The PPF is still in decent condition, it has some wear in some edges and corners but it's still doing its job as intended, no yellowing. There are few rock chips visible underneath the PPF but otherwise it looks great. Only noticeable paint issue is the side mirrors have a minor scratch on the edge underneath the PPF, one on each side. The interior is also incredibly clean and well taken care of, with the gt2 buckets really stealing the show.

TPMS light is on because I run lower pressures than stock on the RE71rs, but the light goes away at stock PSI ranges (not recommended as these tires hate high pressures). The car has been well taken care of and lives in a garage.

I am located in San Diego, so feel free to contact me to come check it out.

The vehicle also has a lien on it from my credit union but they are pretty easy to deal with. Dealt plenty with rennlist folks in person and I am no scammer/time waster.

Engine oil/filter, trans fluid, cabin filter, brake pads/front rotors/lines, wipers, engine air filters, throttle body, and MAF all replaced for preventative maintenance within last 1000 miles. Fluids all done at black forest automotive in San Diego. We found a power steering line leak near the rack pressure hose and went ahead and replaced the pressure and return line with new OEM ones just recently and then replaced the engine side lines as well (full engine/trans out job). Over $6k spent within the last few months with them alone. Zero shortcuts taken anywhere during my ownership.

All OEM tools/tire repair slime/compressor/med-kit/etc are in their locations. I have been through this whole car front to rear myself, and it's got no surprises I can find left. Included is a folder of receipts for maintenance etc. Black Forest also went through the car recently and said it looked great overall.

I am the 7th owner, and I have taken care of this car with everything I have in me.

The only reason I am selling this is because I have a 997 turbo “track” car and don't have room or time for 2 of these things, otherwise it's my perfect spec C2S. (seriously, insuring both of these and keeping them maintained is draining me)

See below for parts list and DME report. I have a new Carfax and it passed CA smog perfectly.

DME:  I know some people are picky about this stuff and you see the ignition counts at range 5/6 way early in the cars’ life since it was used on a track much before my purchase, but it has a net zero impact on the mechanical reliability thus far. Maybe it was a mis-shift or something for a second; either way it has not affected the car in any negative manner during mine or the previous buyers’ ownership. I honestly don’t even think twice about this. I bought it this way with zero regrets. 9A1 is stout.

I will do a PPI without hesitation at buyers’ choice.

This 997 was owned previously by multiple rennlisters. I bought it with a few mods here and there but took it mostly back to mostly stock as I wanted it to be a fresh start to my 997 journey. I spent a ton of time and good bit of money getting it sorted out to being a clean slate.

If you put the VIN into google you can find the previous ads/history of the car. I have done my best to get it ready for the next owner with full transparency.

At the price this car is for I am losing money on this sale and just want it to go to another enthusiast. I would rather make room to focus on the turbo.

Cons: There are only 2 things about this car that are notable.

These are things that might bug someone (me).

1: The numeric shifter cables make the OEM shifter feel notchy and I am not sure I like it (oem cables are included).

2: The alignment pulls the tiniest bit to the right if you let go of the steering wheel, but the only alignment shop I like around me is booked way too far out. It’s really minor and otherwise it handles very precisely and predictably. I will be getting this taken care of soon.

All in all, the car is absolutely sexy. In person the height, the fitment, the lines… everything is just so good. It’s a head turner anytime it’s driven.
Please excuse the picture quality. I still have to detail the inside of the car and will do a proper photoset when I have time (too much going on in life).
