Apologies to the Righteous Brothers...but headed to NC from OH... 2004 C4S cab and cookin and it is glorious ....until WV roads ...which must of been built by the same constuction co. that did the Appian Way.. Spend the night in WV and in the morning as I'm about to head onto the on-ramp when the PSM and ABS warnings light up.... Feels like I'm on a thrill ride at 6 Flags and I console myself by asking " What would Ferdinand do ?" and I hear "Post New Thread and ask for Pcar shops in Charlotte "

My 996.1 went into 'limp mode' shortly after acceleration over some unseen craters in the dark leaving a gas station. No power so I pulled over and shut off, called CAA for a flatbed... But as I had my elderly mother in the car I tried starting it after it cooled a bit , made it home and cancelled the call. But the psm and abs stayed on. I tried new MAF, seemed to work for a while, but once the car gets hot it did it again. It's at PSC Halifax being diagnosed. Sub'd, will update. Good luck!

OBD codes would be nice but my WAG is a wheel rotation/speed sensor. Even if I'm right there are still 4 of them to choose from.

Personally i would keep driving but assume u have no psm or even abs. If the car isnt in limp mode its fine and u wont hurt it.

The connector hub where the ABS wear sensor and the ABS speed sensor plug-in are all deteriorating to the point of crumbling apart for my 2003. So far I have repaired 2 of the 4.

I dont know any but a good shop scanner will pinpoint the problem.

Maybe check with Bob at @NaroEscape . He is that way and a site sponsor/vendor.

Give the guys at Black Forest Racing a call - we're in the same building. Tell them I told you to call.
