Actually i did hear a while ago that the land where the dealership is has been claimed. I read something about public transit station , but that cant be right .. Condos make much more sense these days.

The lands in question were part of the former "Sidewalk Labs" master development site which is no longer proceeding. Waterfront Toronto owned the lands and re-procured the site and two developers now own it. The current location was never intended to be a permanent home for Downtown Porsche. They did not have a long term lease. I was actually surprised they put so much $ into the building but they probably had no choice due to requirements from the big wigs at Porsche.

I believe that the current location was an interim one pending the new one.

The previous location was expropriated by Metrolinx along with other adjacent real estate.

Ever since they moved I have been going to Porsche North . .. Where they are currently is a dirty dusty traffic infested area. Polson is better but traffic and road wise still not great . Having said that if they had a driving experience center I'm there but that ain't happening.

Polson will be fine once this thing is actually built in 2-3 years but agree right now that area is a bit of a war zone. Definitely getting better but that entire area is a very long term effort.
