Dear all,

My Panamera is making this weird noise (similar to a tyre slippage on pavement) when accelerating a bit harder. You can hear it in the attached video. Sometimes it could come consecutively 2 or 3 times during an acceleration. Also, it does not happen necessarily on gear change.

At the official Porsche service, I have been told that there is little chance of finding what is causing the noise. Thought maybe you encountered this problem as well and found some remedies.

Any insights would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Have you control your belt and his tensionner ?

Yes, these seem to be alright. The sound comes under a bit harder acceleration but more often when I take the foot from the pedal.

I cant really hear anything... Try a different dealer. Sounds like they just dont have the time or are too lazy to chase out a noise. Pretty sorry of them for this price point. What is that display on the left cluster gauge? Speed limit? I dont have that on my NAR spec'ed 971.

Thanks for checking. The sound is exactly when the RPM goes from 3k to 2k at gear shift from 2 to 3 (sounds like a wheels spin or oversteer). You can hear it actually twice. Yes, the left screen shows the speed limit

I hear what you're talking about but its just noise on the video to me. Sorry I dont have a better answer.
