Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket solutions for replacement AC vent tabs? I see many replacements for 958 cayenne (thin hard plastic) but they are not compatible with 991. Seems silly that Porsche wants us to replace the entire vent assembly for a small part that is going to fail over and over. The vent tabs are secured by plastic tabs that can snap prematurely.

Snapped on one side, the other size I broke with my fingers just to see how easily they break.

Did you have a phone holder attached to the vent?

A normal unpainted.... not leather wrapped vent is pretty reasonable to replace. At least from doing a search on ebay.

Leather wrapped ventilation duct vanes are what separates us from savages, if one breaks it would appear to be the natural order of things and unseemly to replace with anything other than the maker intended!
