Default XPEL PPF - San Francisco

Does anyone have personal experience with PPF installers in San Francisco? I started poking around Yelp and have found some mixed reviews (including for some officially linked to from the XPEL site).

I'm debating a partial PPF for an upcoming C2S (front, possibly doors). It would also be great to hear costs as well if you have recent experiences.

Thank you in advance.

Not in SF, but Robert at Auto Pro films in Belmont is excellent. However, he used SunTek on my car a few years back.

If it needs to be in San Francisco, I had good experience with PPF Wrap Up, owner / installer's name is Ray.

Another vote for Rob from me. And confirmed he used SunTek last I used him. Good luck in your search.

FWIW, I'm going with Rob at AutoPro in Belmont on my incoming GTS. I've dropped by his shop and spoken to him a few times and his work seems great. He as a 240Z in his shop he covered and it's very well done.
His pricing was also reasonable compared to a couple I spoke to around the Peninsula and Fremont area.

Thank you. Close enough! Any idea of costs?

No. I had it done in conjunction with a complete respray of a 997GTS, so, buried in all that.

Just picked up my GTS from Robert @ Auto Pro Films and extremely pleased with the results. No visible seams, all of the edges are wrapped and hidden,
the sport front end is a single sheet of film and very neatly done. Robert does all the work himself and he is meticulous. Had paint correction done by
Andrew Mijares of Auto Salon Works, before Robert wrapped the car. Andrew did the ceramic after Robert was done.
Andrew is also very meticulous and pointed out areas of GTS that needed correction before starting the work. Surprising how much needs to be done
on a factory fresh car. Only had 550 miles on it, picked it up in Los Angeles, track wrapped the front end and drove it home

I highly recommend Andrew Mijares/Auto Salon Works for paint correction/detailing/ceramic and Robert Sorenson/Auto Pro Films for PPF and window tinting.

This is very helpful. Would you mind showing some pics where seams would be?

I am narrowed down to Rob at Auto Pro and Graphix Lab in South SF. Seems like the rates in the area are around 3500-3800 for full front, bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, mirrors, rockers, rear bumper, doors, a pillars which is my current plan.

Very on the fence about value, but probably should just pull the trigger.

Anyone else have feedback on Graphix Lab to help my comparison?

No experience with Graphix labs as I went with Rob, but for value, it's worth it to me for peace of mind.

I drive my car a lot and haven't had to worry about someone scratching it. Eg. I drove to work in SF one day and some idiot decided to write 'wash me' on the wing on my very lightly dusty car. Had it not been PPF'd, I'd be worried far more about the scratches.

As @ltcjmramos mentioned, no seams. Everything is tucked. Rob is meticulous.
