which 3 of all the Porsches announced since 2016 would be your dream choice?
My 3; ST, SC & Speedster.

ok for clarity, I'd definitely put the 991 R over the GT3 Touring. That being said, I really think that we could split hairs (it's free online of course!) on the entire debate of:
R vs 4.0 vs 991.2 GT3 Touring vs 992 Touring...
That being said the sport classic is a better car than 2-3 of those 4 cars.
I'm taking the 718 Spyder RS over the Speedster for my opentop car and aggressive street car, the Sport Classic for my manual fun long drives and the Dakar over a GT3 wing or GT3RS

(997.2 -> 4.0 RS, last of an era)
991.1 -> R, best of ... may be all
991.2 -> Speedster, best NA cabriolet
992.1 -> SC, most beautiful 992
and the most interesting thing is that each one has a completely different taste (handling, sound, torque, style), you cannot get bored or think that one is a variation of the other.
please notice that performance is not a criteria as in terms of numbers the next generation will always beat the previous, i'm only focusing in experience.
