Lowered from SPASM - 7/8” front and -1/2” rear on Bilstein EVO coil overs. Handling and ride quality in normal, sport and sport+ all improved over stock. Don’t get me wrong, even stock, the car never felt like it had great ride quality, but w/ Bilstein EVOs, it doesn’t feel like a lowered car as it seems to have pretty much the same suspension travel even when going over larger dips and bumps.

For all you guys who just lowered with springs......have you driven over 10k+miles on em yet? I'm interested in lowering my daily but not if the oem struts fail or wear out faster then a set of new tires ..
I'm assuming coilovers will last a lot longer ...?

I feel that ride quality is compromised with the KW HAS kit, at least on my Base model. I had H&R Springs on my 964, and did not notice as big a difference in ride quality with it as I have with my 992.
Would I do it again? Yes, but most likely will look into the Bilstein EVO coil overs when and if the time comes.
BTW, wife and I are 76 yrs old, and she's never complained once about the ride quality.......she's a keeper for sure!
