955 frustrating suspension woes
Im am pulling my hair out with my 955. the rear sits about 35mm hight than the front..i've taken it to 3 places and they says it normal. I have replaced all the air struts and its still the same. Also the rear is very hard, especially when going over speed bumps..the front compresses and soft ,but the rear doesnt bounce, its rock hard.
Any ideas? Ive driven my brother 957, it drives nice and level, same goes for my mates 957 turbo..sits level and smooth on road..
Ive added a eurowise 2" lift but the suspension was the same before i added this. I added the correct level sensor plastic barthat eurowise supplied so in theory the suspension should sit level

Does the rear go lower in the different setting positions or does only the front move when you change from normal to sport to Loading modes?

Hi,
The problem was there before I replaced all the struts and lifted the car. The sensor arms supplied by Eurowise were shorter by about 25mm both front and rear.

Does the 955 have PASM with the different ride modes - Comfort, Normal, and Sport?
DDoes the 955 have the auto-levelinf headlights - they use the same leveling sensors as the suspension. Are the headlights aiming correctly or are they low or high? If so, you can force a headlight auto adjust by with the key in rhenoff position, turn the headlight switch to on, then turn the key to the full accessory position and wait. The headlight beams should dip down then raise up. Do they do that?

Wow, that's crazy. Do you have a Durametric or similar where you could go into the suspension module and see what heights the car thinks it's set at. That might tell us whether it's a sensor issue or something else
Attached is a document on how to lower a Cayenne using Durametric. Though you're not trying to do this, the information about reading sensor values and such may prove useful as you try to sort this out.

looks like the air ride system lost its calibration because someone in the past lifted the vehicle up without disabling the system or someone overrode the calibration settings themselves via coding to make that stance.

Mine did this after I got the air suspension working again. (Recently purchased '04 TT)
Check the sensor arms on the rear suspension. Mine were disconnected because the rubber bushing that holds the arms on the ball joint was gone. I assume they disintegrated at some point.
I found a 3D-print design for a Tesla that I re-purposed to the new measurements for the TT. I made them 12mm longer than stock, which lowered it about an inch and a half. (Any less and the suspension started bouncing off of the rubber stopper in the shock when in the "sport lowered" mode.)

I’ve replaced the module with a working/newer module that’s the same model. But I still have the same issue.. the whole suv has Aired out on the street.. Pleassseeeee!!! I need help!!!!
