Default NEED one BBS E28 0228040 Center

Does anyone out there have a single BBS E28 center, with the part number 0228040. I am putting together a set of wheels for my 964, and all I need is one more center. . I ordered the hardware from BBS(Thanks Eric!), and have all the barrels ready to go. I missed out on a number of sets of E28s over the last few years, with much regret. Those who have them seem to be holding on to them. So this is a last ditch effort to see if anyone on this site is using one for a coffee table, or has one hanging on their wall, that they would like to 'graciously' part with? Please PM me if you do. Thanks.

It may not be easier to find but a 0228041 center also works. It's the replacement for the 040.

I will take a 0228041. They have a different offset, but I can make it work, if someone has one. Thanks!

Yo can buy E28 centres from this company. They are now made of aluminium, which is stronger, and approved by BBS.

Thanks. I emailed with them and am waiting to hear back. There may be a translation issue or I’m just misunderstanding. They asked me how many 040 stars I have installed, and how the beds are divided up. I think they’re asking if my front wheel centers are a different ref# (the cracked one is a rear), and the lug pattern.

Send pics- I live in Japan and often have translation problems. Like they say "...a thousand words." By stars I think they are referring to the centers. Beds= # of wheel shell holes???

As Pete said: "stars" probably means the center. In German the center part ist called "Felgenstern"

have a set from them... the E28 for 964 have M7 bolts instead of M6... that was necessary to pass all german TÜV tests..
But perhaps, they can also delivery the normal Motorsport stuff with M6 bolts

How is the weight compared to a Mag E28? When my bank account is ready I'll probably buy a set from them and use for slicks along side the set of E28's I already have.

i was told, that the whole wheel is 0.5kg per wheel heavier than the orig. motorsport wheel. Also the barrels are different (thicker) to achieve official Tüv include salt test and duration tests...
