I'm considering a 2015/16 Cayenne or Macan Turbo. I'm currently leaning towards the Macan. In the 2015/16 model year, does the Park Assist option 7X8 imply that the vehicle has overhead surround view also?

Does the 16 model have any significant improvements over the 15?

The 7x8 option is the parking sensors with rear view camera. The surround option is 8A4 ParkAssistant with Surround View

No real difference between the 15/16’s. The changes came in 2017, and that was mostly the PCM 4.0 w/ CarPlay option.

Thanks. I did a quick search and it doesn't appear to a very commonly spec'd option.

It is very rarely spec'd and pretty much never dealer spec'd for inventory cars. I don't know why. I spec'd it and love it. If the car you want has everything else, I wouldn't say it's a must have but it is very useful for tight parking spots and perfect reverse into spots next to curbs.

I'm somewhat surprised myself. Less than 10 of the CPO Macans that are currently on the web-site have the option.

We added it to our '19 S at the last minute. I have seen it in action on a dealer car and really liked it. Went for just about everything else, so, why not?
