Second small bulb for fog light

Nice job on removing the glass lens from the housing. Are you doing a foglight refresh? Look around your front bumper. I bet the plug is around somewhere

Thanks, I am doing a fog light refresh, painted the interior silver and found some silver rtv to glue the glass back on. I found the wires they were hidden behind the bumper, so thanks for everyones input. Now to decide on LED's.

Ill look for for them tomorrow, they are like $10-12....and a quality product.
Also, consider adding a set of HId’s in those fog’s...HUGE improvement.

Thank you all for your trust in our stuff.
I have tried many LED and HID solutions in the front fogs, all with unsatisfactory results. There's very little space behind the H3 bulb, so any ballast circuitry must probably be placed outside the lamp housing.
However, common for all the bulbs we have tested is that they produce a wrong light output pattern, especially the LED solutions. We therefore have no recommendations in this.
Cheers,
Tore

Good to know Tore, I won't wast my time then. Thanks for your awesome products, I was so impressed with the T-light kit I will be ordering The T-LED kit this weekend. Do you have any suggestions for the Low beam? I've read a lot of posts on the matter but what does the master of lighting think?

grazingcow, thanks. I guess you mean the high beam?
I have not yet found a satisfactory solution for the 993 high beams. I have tried both LED and HID lamps, but in my opinion, all produce too much light in the car's near field. This is not where I want my high beam lights.
There's risk of a wrong light output pattern when using other bulbs in normal halogen reflector designs, and this is probably the case for the systems I have seen.

Tore

I still have a DDM HID kit in the fog lights, been there for almost 7 years I believe, without issue. They throw quite a bit of light. I recently followed a few other rennlister’s, that installed the 993 Morimoto bi-xenon retrofit kit, from The Retrofit Source. The kit comes with new Morimoto bi-xenon projectors, Hardware adaptor’s, and a hi beam splitter option. Upgraded to Tore’s HID kit in the bi-xenon projectors, and installed an LED in the hi beam location. The high beam splitter harness energizes both the bi-xenon AND the LED for high beams...holy hell does it create light. I also did a full Tore LED replacement for marker/brake/directional...etc, including the ROW fog locations to additional brake light kit. Plenty of threads on the results of the above light transformation.
