Where are you getting these prices? Is that a shop parts and labor? Seems high

OEM Suspension - $6000 including labor and alignment
Spark plugs - $930
Coil packs $250
Engine Mounts
Front inner tire wall liners
Right front light flat silver
Rocker panels
hood pop up button
Spoiler mechanism Broke
right and left side rocker panels cracked
hood/trunk buttons broken
right turn blinker mechanism
Exhaust tips saggy
Internal air filter
factory amp

factory bose cd exchanger
spare tire is good

hood pop up, need new shocks
new windscreen
if this is a list of things you need to do to the car... woof.

Id start with the smaller things to get them out of the way.

Exhaust tips aligned
wheel liners
hood shocks
cabin filter

these can all be be done by you in under 2 hours. They’re literally idiot proof. There’s no reason to pay a Indy .5 hours labor for then to do a cabin filter which will take you no less than 5 minutes with the frunk lid up.

then is move onto the plugs, coils, and engine mounts.

brakes, suspension, and alignment should be done together to remove any risk of messing with the alignment.

After that... well take your pick

i agree, i can do the minor stuff, i changed battery, fixed hood release switch etc etc, but if it included a lift or jack stands I dont usually get involved. i think i can do the rockers without a stand as well.

I would seriously consider selling, if you can't do the work yourself. It sounds like a money pit in the making.

na. this stuff gets fixed over a period of months if not years. the tranny and brakes are not urgent. its a long game. I learned to think differently with my C4S.

Good on ya. Don't let anyone try to talk you out of owning the car just because you don't work on all of it yourself.

I will be 75 driving this car to the library to drop off books. Thats a long ways away for me. You cant get discouraged with cost on these. Any restore on any car is going to be the same price. Many people panic.

If you go to any shop that charges 930$ to change spark plugs you will get exactly what that price says. Screwed. Its a 2 hr job at most and 50$ for the fancy plugs

are you wanting a concouse condition car at the end? no need to spend 6k$ on suspension when ohlins r&t run 2800$ . and all new bushings in ploy are under 1000$ thats front and rear. and again you can rebuild your trans from renntech for 2500$

He has a solid point here^. The prices you offered are extreme Porsche tax end of the scale.
