Default 993 OE sway bar upgrade part number chart

I've been researching sway bar upgrades for my 993. All of the info is on RL, but I couldn't find one resource that has it all in one place. I've collected it and attached below, I hope it is helpful.

For street cars, the most popular combos seem to be RS bars, M030 bars, or M030 front/Euro Turbo rear. I also found a 21mm front bar from the Targa (?) but the 22mm M030 bar seems to be more popular.

I didn't include any info about aftermarket drop links, I'm not sure which of those are preferred and it's easy enough to find.

The prices are as of today from Sunset Parts, which is the cheapest source that I could find

Great info....thanks for taking the time to post this info up. I bought my 993 RS sway bars from Sunset....went to Tarett Engineering for the adjustable drop links.

This is great information. Thank you.
BTW, what are the standard sway bar sizes (non M030)?

According to the people of Rennlist, for 993 Carreras, the M033 bars are 20mm front and 17mm rear. I came across a 21mm front bar, which I think was for a standard Targa, but did not confirm. I'm not sure about all of the other 993 variants.

According to the official Porsche PET pdf - the 21mm bar is the one from a non-M030 standard car, be it a targa, coupe, cab, whatever.

Another update: I realized that the M030 front end links require additional bolts, which are not built into the links.

The bolt P/N is added above, feel free to double check my accuracy.

Has anyone used M030 bars with the standard front end links? I believe that they are not strong enough?

Reviving this thread in order to get feedback on your any experiences and thoughts:

I love to track my car but it has too much roll due to the stock sway bars and drop links.

So...

RS version at 23mm//20mm w/ adjustable drop links,

M30 version at 22mm//20mm...and use the Tarett Engineering Drop links

Or...just get the adjustable 993 Tarett Drop links front and rear on the OEM bars for a C2

Obviously the RS version would be the most expensive option but I am not convinced that the $$$ is worth the gain of having an additional 1mm up front.

My car has Bilstein PSS10's.

Thanks in advance.

So, just getting drop links will not change your roll characteristics. The diameter really defines the roll characteristics. The other bars like the RS have multiple holes to define how much leverage you put on the ends of the ARB. I went from stock to RS bars front and rear along with tarret drop links. Great compromise for me without being too harsh.

If you want an easy to rotate back end, I've got an H&R arb that will let you have fun all day long. I'll let it go cheap.
