Brake and clutch bleed today >>
Had time for some maintenance today. I flushed the old brake fluid out and replaced with ATE super blue. The bleed screw for the clutch is in a tricky place and mine was 7mm (which sucked because I had to run to the store to get a box end that small). I only bled the clutch with the power bleeder and did not bother pumping the clutch pedal. Is this totally necessary?
Motive was easy to use and beats the heck out of pedal pumping.
I put one of the littles to work as well.

I put a ball valve on the tubing for the motive. So when i pull the cap close valve refill reservoir then screw cap back on and slowly open valve then give a few pumps. Saves a bit of time pumping pressure back up. I also don’t put fluid in the motive.

valve in the motive line is a great idea! Thanks

I put a one way disconnect coupling that I had lying around in mine and used it dry for the first time on the weekend. Made the job a lot simpler as the motive held pressure and screwing the cap on the reservoir without the bottle attached was a joy .

For street use any DOT4 spec fluid is fine.
For track use SRF or PFC.
I don't put fluid in the Motive bottle, I always keep the Motive bottle dry. I only put fluid in the car's reservoir.
