The market is perfectly capable of speaking as to whether this price is "too high" without comments from the peanut gallery.

Let's not go too far. This is a public forum after all, and it specifically invites discussions and opinions (educated or not) of all kinds. The market will speak for itself but its the people that make this forum what it is.

Are you guys also bothered when there are a dozen posts with variations of "Whoo boy, that'll sell quick in this market!" and "This one won't last long!!!"

Not at all, because our mom's taught us to only say nice things. If you can't, say nice thing then STFU.

Moderators need to do a better job and delete those posts.

Great car John. GLWS.
Agree but they need to be consistent and delete them in ALL for sale threads not just the dealer ones. Plenty of private party sales with all the same comments from all the same people.

Nice car. Would assume that will end up in someones collection. Hard to beleive it will get a bunch of miles on it.

Things used to be moderated better years ago, it's become a little like the wild west now. Maybe this is the way Internet Brands like it.

I'm sure there was outrageous pricing comments when a 993 TTS was selling for 200K 5 years ago. I'm in the camp if you got nothing nice to say about the car for sale then keep it to yourself or take it to the appropriate section in RL.

Car looks awesome and priced right when compared to 993 TT prices, GLWS Jwright/

I think this a fantastic car and I don't see a problem with the price. It's a little sad as these Gems won't see the road much but in the rare case I see one it's always a treat.

I've been getting my but kicked over in the GT4 thread along similar lines for the last two days, some I deserve, some I don't.

Good luck with the sale I hope you get every nickel.

Is there is a sticky to this effect or is it just an unwritten "rule?" I'm new here and do not know the answer. However, if the answer is that it's an unwritten rule, I respectfully suggest that a moderator post such a rule in a conspicuous place.

Lift, good question, and fair question. I don't have an answer. Sorry But, bottom line, rule or no rule, common sense, and decency dictates you don't crap on a guys "for sale" listing. That's what the discussion forums are designed for.

they are merely jesters.
the car is priced right.
buyers of 993TTS knows the mkt.
