I'll attempt to get a meter on it. I actually don't own one because they are so expensive. I detailed for 15 years before I got into this and it's just a feel thing at this point. Not much was taken off, because it's never been polished properly before we got it. Previous owner just washed and hand waxed it. Using a 1500 Menzerna Polish then a 2500 and then 3500 after that won't take off much if it hasn't been done before. I'll see if I can find a meter and get a reading on it for you in the next day or two. It should be 3.5 to 4 mils still. There has been no previous paint work at all.

I agree 100% but keeping them stock shows the car hasn't been modified at all . Toss up to some people. I'll include installed factory clears by request from any buyer .

Great looking car, interested to see meter readings also.
For anyone looking, I have this gauge and like it. Gets the job done having used Defelsko's too.

Paint readings are in - 3.0 mils on the roof - 3.5-4.0 mils on the doors - 4 mils on the rear fender - 3.5mils rear bumper and trunk lid - I'd assume the same 3.5 to 4.0 mils for the hood and the front fenders but there is no way to tell with the PPF film on the car now. Hope this helps!
