So if you are coming from a street car you understand the characteristics.
One way to ice mode is If you are trigger happy on the brake pedal.
Another is If the track gets hotter or wet, however you can dial in the ABS and correct it.
Typically I start the car off at "3" setting in the dry. And when the tires and track get really hot you can feel the braking zones where you get some of the "ice mode" feed back. Simply dial down to setting "2" for the next lap. Very nice feature.
You can go deep in these cars. And the brakes pads/discs have great life span.

The 70L tank Cayman has the brake booster from a GT2 street car.

I have been told it is a function of brake line pressure - over 1800 psi is bad. Now I have a warning lights - high ABS at 1500 psi and over brake at 1800 psi. Sort of a training device for me. I have learned to be careful when following a slower car into a corner.

The calibration is set for slicks. But if you "stab" the brake pedal incorrectly you can sometimes trigger the ABS. Especially in street cars.
Once you get the feel of the pedal and the threshold of the ABS you can go deep in this car and wont hit the ABS, especially if you have the ABS dial set for the track conditions.
The 100L tank cars get the dual master set up which is more race then street.
It is a much firmer pedal.
Following a slower car in a corner always freaks me out. Especially when they throw the anchor! lol.

That is correct, the CS ABS is not a full racing system and it will exhibit that "ice" feel if you hit the pedal too hard upon brake application. We have 6 of them in the shop right now, 5 of them the MR Spec, and the upgraded dual master setup is far superior in the MR version than the stock clubsport. You have a brake bias dial and can certainly adjust bias front to rear which is a real plus when dialing in the brakes. I feel the pad compound that comes with these cars is too hard, a softer pad would certainly help.....

Dailed down the ABS selector for next lap and worked like a charm.
You got to use the ABS selector as tires get warmer and track gets hotter.
It is the only way the street car will understand the slicks which is why Porsche had to put it there.
I start off on setting 3 which is my go to setting.
If things get hot and tires get greasy, 2.
If it is cool outside I go up to 4.
Wet will see 5 or more.
