I purchased this car in 2011 and I am the 4th owner. The car has a clean Carfax report with no accidents or rust (car is originally from California and then Texas). I consider it a drivers car and it is in excellent mechanical condition. Although I continually receive compliments on the car, I would consider the exterior paint to be in fair condition. It looks great from 5-ft away (no fading or rust) but upon close inspection it has the normal scars and bruises of a 30-yr old car (same goes for the interior), so therefore I would not consider it a concours show car or garage queen.
Vehicle is Located in Arlington, VA.

I remember in 1999 when I started racing I bought a '88 E30 with 100k miles for $9k and turned it into a race car. A guy who saw the completed car at a race yelled at me and the other racers for destroying pieces of history to race. I laughed at him. Maybe he was right as that car lost 4 motors and, ultimately, caught fire. It was rebuilt but I never saw it raced in anger again. Here is a pic from a long time ago.

Thanks Patrick, I'm sad to see it go as well. There has been a large amount of interest in the car, so I'm hopeful it goes to a good home. Also, Thanks to everyone for the positive comments, this is a great forum! I will try to post more photos this weekend. Lastly, I'm doing my best to reply to all the inquiries. Email is my preferred method of corresponding.
Best,
Rob
