I commented on this car in previous posts..The miles and year are good...But the white/grey combo is not my favorite. If it were Silver, Red, or Mint Green, that would be a different story.
Thx for the post.
The search continues...

Track Day
Hi Supersonic964,
I don't have any leads for you, simply confirmation that 964 Tips are fabulous to own and drive. I bought mine in 1991 in NJ. It's been professionally and meticulously maintained the entire time. Tiptronic has proven to be bullet proof. It just turned 66,300 exhilarating, drama-free miles. While I never track the car, I've done my share of AX events, lengthy interstate trips and occasional drives into Manhattan in bumper to bumper traffic. The original paint still shines brightly and my heart sings whenever I get behind the wheel. I rarely drive in full automatic mode unless I'm in heavy stop and go traffic. The rest of the time, I prefer to do the shifting. It's great to have the flexibility.
As for spirited performance, I've owned a 944 Turbo, and driven an assortment of manual 911s. Contrary to what I've read in the forums, the tip is almost as fast off the line when launched in 1st gear. Since I don't race it, a few 10ths of a second and a few mph slower at WOT is almost unnoticeable, and irrelevant to me. That's not why I love and recommend the car. Good luck in your search!

I appreciate the confirmation that Tips are awesome to own & drive. I like your performance comparison to manual 911's and the 944 T.
Like you said, "a few 10ths of a second and a few mph slower at WOT is almost unnoticeable"...The lack of speed in a tip or it lacking "spirited driving" was never an issue for me.
Not looking to race it or track it.
Thanks for the recommendation & the post.
Cheers!

Any 964 Tip Targas in Silver out there? Saw one at a show and REALLY liked it. Might find a Targa before a coupe at this point.
If anyone knows of a great Silver Tip targa,... LET ME KNOW.
Thx again
