CAR IS SOLD!!!!!!!!
Hi Everyone! I have decided to put my 2006 BMW M3 up for sale. I am a longtime BMW enthusiast and BMW CCA Member for over 20 years. This is my second E46 M3 and these cars are absolutely amazing and so well balanced. Since purchasing the car I have spent a touch over 240 hours of extensive detailing, paint correction and part replacement. This car might just make Enthusiast Auto Group blush (No disrespect EAG). This car is 100% turn key and needs nothing other than a new home, garage and driver.
This M3 is just about all stock and all original. You are looking at the last of the BMW M3 high revving normally aspirated straight 6 cylinder, 6- speed manual, front engine, rear drive, non-bloated analog experience. Simply put they aren’t making any more of these.
I have tried to itemize and present this car as perfectly clear and transparent as possible. PPI’s are welcome within a reasonable distance. I use Leading Edge Autosport which is located in West Chester PA 19382. Should you have any additional questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Subframe Inspection (No cracks or issues)
Common/Typical Questions and Answers Associated with any E46 M3 and S54:
• Is the Subframe cracked, torn, bent or showing signs of cracking?
No and a recent inspection on 6/7/18 and 117 miles ago with paperwork supports that. Underside photos and photos of the rear floor have been provided as well.
• Has the Vanos been overhauled or rebuilt?
No to the best of my knowledge everything is still original and OEM. A scan for any fault codes was performed on 6/7/18 and 117 miles ago with no codes showing..
• Have the rod bearings been replaced?
No this is a later production car that did not have the rod bearing failures of the early production year M3’s. The Blackstone oil analysis also shows a very low Lead and Copper value which supports good rod bearing health without opening the motor up and removing them to inspect.
• Does the car need a Valve Adjustment?
No this S54 motor has had a valve adjustment performed twice. First time was by BMW of Freehold at 23,996 miles on 10/18/07 and the second time was by West German BMW at 47,926 miles on 10/8/09.
• Has any of the cooling system been replaced?
No it appears all original and I don’t have any records nor does the CarFax show any service of anything being replaced or repaired.
• Are there any fluid leaks?
No as of 6/7/18 and 117 miles ago there are no signs of any fluid leaks on the motor, transmission, differential, brake lines, cooling system components, A/C lines and compressor, power steering lines and pump and reservoir, washer fluid tank and lines.
• Do the window regulators work?
Yes, the front windows both roll up and down all the way, one touch feature works, and the auto window drop/roll-up when opening and closing the doors works. Rear windows move out and close as they should as well. Sunroof tilt/close/open and one touch features work as well.
• Are there any pixels out in the dash or Navigation screen?
No all the dash lights work perfect and the navigation screen was replaced with an OEM Sharp 6.5” LQ065T9BR54U screen. There are no scratches or blemishes on the monitor.
• Has the factory Takata air-bag recall been done?
Yes on 8/9/18 at 59,191 the driver and passenger front air bag recall was performed and a double check that any and all other open recalls or service bulletins have been performed while at Otto’s BMW in West Chester PA.
Other Main Questions and Answers:
• Are there any accidents, thefts, or other issues with the CarFax and Title?
No, the CarFax and Pennsylvania title are clean and the car has not been involved in any accidents, thefts, floods, repossessions or anything that would negatively impact the car. All the bodywork, bumpers, glass and trim are original.
• Is there any paintwork done to the car?
Yes, in an effort to make the car perfect I elected to have the front bumper, trim pieces under the headlights, hood and rear bumper painted. I have included pictures showing the condition of those parts prior to paint to help explain why I made this decision as well as show that paintwork was not required do to extensive damage or accidents.
The front bumper had a clear bra on it that was applied at some point after it was new. I removed it as it was yellow and faded and in poor condition. There was rock chips and a small scrape on the bottom of the bumper that could not be corrected. Additionally, the installer of the clear bra cut and trimmed it directly on the paint leaving permanent cut marks on the front bumper. Lastly there were two holes drilled in the front bumper for the use of the OEM front license plate holder.
The front hood was repainted for two reasons. There was a dent to the left of the passenger side kidney grille as shown in photos that could not be corrected through paint-less dent removal. Additionally, there was a scratch down to the metal in-between the kidney grilles. Lastly just like the front bumper the clear bra was trimmed and cut on the clear coat and those marks could not be wet sanded and paint corrected to make the hood look right.
The front trim pieces under the headlights were resprayed to remove rock chips and since the bumper and hood were being painted it made sense to do those two pieces at the same time.
The rear bumper on the passenger side had some spider cracks and clear coat fade. Oddly enough it was just on the passenger side and not both sides. Again, in an effort to make the car look perfect the rear bumper was resprayed and the valance as well to make that whole area look perfect.
Paint match is perfect and there are no odd drip marks or corrections needed.
• Do you have the title and is the title clean?
Yes, I have a clean title issued from Pennsylvania in my possession with no liens or issues. It is in hand ready to sign over to the next owner.
• You mentioned you have refreshed the car to make it look perfect and brand new. What have you done to refresh the car during your ownership?

Extras:
I have the original 19” Style 67 Forged Polished Double Spoke Wheels. They do have new center caps and “M” Stickers. I currently have them sitting in the CSL/ZCP Boxes. There are no bends or cracks and hardly any curb rash but I would rate them a 7/10 only because I am more than super picky.
Oil Change Kit - I will include 6 bottles of Castrol Edge 10W-60 oil, a Mahle Oil Filter, Oil Drain Plug and Crush Washer.
OEM “A” Pillar Cover (As stated earlier the dealership nicked the original one that is still in place and they supplied a new piece)
Trunk OEM M3 Badge

GLWS Beautiful car. I gutted my 2004 Alpine White M3 last year and turning it into a USTCC and NASA ST3 car. Mine had 37K miles on it and most of my friends are pissed off that I'm turning such a highly desirable street car into a race car.

268 total miles for owners 4 & 5....
were they merely flipping?

Hi I am owner number 5. I helped my friend owner number 4 who lives in Florida find the car from another friend who is owner number 3. Owner number 4 bought the car with the intention to keep it but needed to invest further capital into his business. He never got a chance to enjoy it unfortunately. I was offered the car first shot at buying it. It's not a flip car for anyone and has great documentation and has always been in the right enthusiast hands.

Beautiful indeed. I owned the elusive 2006 Interlagos Blue, 6 sp manual ZCP packaged M3. Sold it two and a half years ago with 27,000 miles. The only reason I sold it was to fund my insane 997.2 C2S. Loved the ZCP but don’t regret it. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks man! I currently have a 997.2 C4GTS and used to have an IB ZCP before so I can relate to the driving experience. These E46 M3's and E39 M5 era cars always tug at my heart strings though.
