I am dumbfounded why this nice sample hasn't sold yet. If it doesn't cost me $1500 just to ship it out here, I would've bought it back in February. Now that I am looking at a '87 928 S4 manual, I am still drawn to this well kept sample.
C'mon, <100,000 mile S4 black/white is a nice combo for <$10,000.

hello
i noticed the sticker on the license plate says
2015. Is you car currently registered and smogged?
Has this always been a California Car?
any idea if the clutch has ever been replaced?
Thanks,
Jeff

The car is not currently registered. I Non-oped it so I would have to keep paying for annual reg and biannual smog checks on it. It gets started once every week. The car started life at Porsche Beverly Hills (or was it Santa Monica...I can't remember). It went out of state and I bought it from a gentleman in Missouri. The clutch has been replaced with a centerforce unit. The clutch is very light and smooth.

Any luck finding service records? I have to wonder if that's holding up the sale of what looks like a very good specimen. Maybe add a bunch more pictures to the listing, especially of undercarriage, engine compartment, suspension, sunroof / hatch / potential water leak areas, dashboard, the dings/blemishes you mentioned, under carpets, all those nitpicky areas that pop up on the PPI lists? (I'm just thinking out loud about why nobody's bought this yet). Such a shame that this nice example is just sitting there....
