-NO significant rust on the usual trouble spots - chassis / rear cross member / outriggers / bulkhead / seat box / T-posts.
-Original front and rear doors - bubbling along door bottoms (see photos) but without significant rust
-Upgraded door hinges and hardware in the early 2000s

-New stainless catalytic exhaust and 4 O2 sensors
-Safety Devices NAS-style roll cage with basket included
-Stock LR steel rims
-Headliner without significant droop
-NO lucas electric gremlins

-Newer factory spec tires
-Fluids: gearbox, transfer case, differentials all flushed and changed with Amsoil synthetic
Condition: Near 100% original per above, no significant rot on chassis, outriggers, footwells, door bottoms, and bulkhead. Surface rust visible as photographed on corners of doors. Mechanically working 100%. That said, this was designed to be one step better than a farm tractor. Do not expect the ride of a Range Rover.
-DETAILS: I drive this truck, never off road but a lot . The truck has not seen winter or salt since 1998, but it has seen rain, dusty and dirty spring roads, and is not a trailer queen for weekend shows only. Sure, you could make it perfect, but look at the photos - from 10 feet away, it is 100%. From 2 feet away, you see years of gentle wear on the original truck with the some bubbling of paint in spots where the steel cappings touch the aluminum panels, over some of the heads of the aluminum rivets, surface rust on under body bolt heads, light scratches and nicks on the paint.
-1997 Odometer Issue: unfortunately, LR switched to digital odometers in 1997 compared to mechanical odometers in 93, 94, and 95. These digital units were prone to the display screen going blank. This 1997 truck had the odometer replaced at approximately 70k miles. The carfax demonstrates that the odometer changed back from 70k. The title is clean, no odometer issue, no "true miles unknown." In doing the math, the total miles is approximately 130k. Without this odometer defect, the truck would sell for $70-80k in this condition.
-Paint: The paint is tired. The clear coat is faded on the hood from sun exposure. No bare spots. You could certainly respray it in the factory Limited Edition color if you wanted to create a show queen, but from a few feet back, it looks wonderful, which was good enough for me.

Love those vehicles- we had a '65 Land Rover 90 growing up. The frame had major rust issues, but the body was solid as it was aluminum. The doors, etc aren't aluminum on the newer models? Otherwise how could the doors rust??
(BTW, LOVE the tire cover!!)

Nope. Steel. The new frame is galvanized. Doors aren’t too bad, just pointing out everything.

You have to be kidding me...! I had a '97 D90 in Arles Blue. Sold it back to the dealer with 60K +- on it for $27K back in '01.

Yeah yeah it's not the only car I should have kept. But we needed a family crap hauler at the time for my wife and new baby, who's 15 years old now.

Beautiful. I have a 95 NAS D90 #141.... I understand how you could have two because this listing seriously has the wheels turning in my head. The LEs are really special.
People should not worry about an odometer issue... this is very common on these trucks and has almost zero impact on value. Rust should be your only concern and a galvanized frame is a great upgrade to have.
