Welp. This past weekend at Sonoma, I blew a rod bearing. Diagnosis is not positive, and this car will likely need a new motor (for now, it still starts). There's a lot about this car that is still in great shape, but I'm just not in the position to either spend the time to part it out or, on the other hand, spend the money to fix it up.

In all honesty, I'm open to just about any offer. I have about two weeks left of being able to keep the car at the shop it's in now (Heyer Performance, in Mountain View), and then I'll have to figure out how to get it home and into my tiny, crowded garage. I'll be keeping the Recaro SPG's, license plate, and OEM wheels (though will sell the OEM wheels separately).

----------------------

Important info:
1. IMSB upgraded at about 155k. (not sure how relevant this is to a future owner, considering the current state of the engine).

2. At the same time as IMSB, it got a new clutch, flywheel, and deep sump oil pan to head off concerns about oil starvation on the track.

3. Legit GT3 decklid with MA Shaw Carbon Fiber wing.

4. Previous owner convinced local dealer (carlsen?) to print off all service records for the car since nearly new. Since then, I've only had Tony Heyer at Heyer Performance work on the car. I have all receipts for his work, but feel free to get his take on the car.

5. Added the additional center radiator. I've done one event at Thunderhill this summer and the car performed pretty admirably at around 100°F.

6. Custom fabricated intake box over EVOMs intake. Drains flawlessly in the rain and ensures this aftermarket cold air intake gets real cold air from the inlet on the GT3 decklid. I have the original intake for smogging purposes.

8. I bought the car with Rottec GT3 replica seats. I intend to sell it with these seats.

9. Paint looks like you'd expect for nearly 160k miles. Definitely not a show car.

10. As far as I know, originally an aerokit car.

11. Bilstein PSS9 in solid shape.

12. I have the original suspension and decklid (with powered spoiler).

If you're interested, make an offer. I'm a super motivated seller. Not trying to part it out. If you want something, take the whole thing, please.

You mentioned in your ad that the OEM wheels are not included. Does it come with another set of wheels to be able to roll on?

That intake is awesome! I'd love to have something like that and I could really use those seats
