Well I for one wish the seller good luck..These cars are becoming a little harder to find. If the condition is excellent with no issues than his price is close. When I sold my 94 3.6T in 08 too many virtual tire kickers on this board felt that I priced it too high. Of course it wasn't ..I got my asking price..which in hindsight was way too low. Today my car would have been worth double my asking price...so to the seller..stick by your guns...if all is well you should get your asking price or near it...

Canepa recently sold a 3.3 964 Turbo--one in original condition and with low mileage--for a reputed $115k. Here's an ad for another 3.3 964 Turbo: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...965-turbo.html. The seller is asking $125k.

However just 'coz one car sold at $115,000 doesn't mean all cars, regardless of miles/condition etc should be selling for the same price.
Just 'coz the Canepa car was sold for $115,00 and since it's been few months that car sold, so we should be asking $125,000 doesn't make any sense either.
The car in the above ^ pelican ad was listed here last year for an asking price of $80,000 and it didn't sell for several months. I am not even sure if it's the same seller or the new seller asking the $125,000 but that's a lot of dough though.
The car that OP is trying to sell, has quite a few owners, has close to 70,000 miles, has mods not to mention a complete respray. Do we even know why the car was re-painted, i guess we will never know?
Once again asking and selling prices are two different things.
At $125,000, I guess I won't mind selling mine with 40,000 and heck I would even arrange an enclosed delivery too

But since you did ask in a open forum I'll answer.
Our car does have close to 70000 miles precisely 65410 miles.
The mods can be easily reversed but why would you??
And, oh yes, the complete respray was because we wanted to have a really nice looking car and the original paint was weak. In that paint job we took it to a high end paint and car restorer and got a respray that you can't tell it was painted. And since we took the car completely apart we did determine there was no damage confirming our original car fax.
The one negative that you didn't mention was the lack of 13 years of records. Believe me I tried to get them by talking to the original first owner and the second owner would not return my calls or emails. I'm guess you determined that we are now the third owner, and if you bought it you would be number four.
While it wasn't the best when we bought it we did, over the last ten years, take extremely good care of it.
If it sells great if it doesn't that is great as well.

Dealers like Canepa/Sloan/RPM etc etc has connections and know people that have the money to buy cars no questions asked.

3.3L compared to 3.6L are not really a good comparison for price point.
3.6L cars are selling for bigger bucks but driving up the 3.3L as result.
Friend of mine bought a 1991 3.3L from a 964 dealer this summer with 50k miles for 55k.
His car is worth as much as he paid for it and perhaps more given the market demand.
Black on black seems to be the color for 964 turbos.
If I were in the market Id make sure id be packing at least $65k for a nice example.

We would have loved to been able to restore the car to its original new glory with the original paint but alas we couldn't. And we also understood the downside of painting and also the lack of records for the first 13 years when we bought it. We took all of this into consideration, just like you would, during the negotiations for the car. This car wasn't our first Porsche rodeo
