Green with envy
Sharp car! I have a couple of questions:
How "streetable" is the car for the occasional sunny day cruise or to drive to an area autocross? How fresh is the engine build? What fuel is required?
Pictures would be appreciated: nnmachining@gmail.com
Thanks,
Brian

good questions!
The car runs on pump gas with stock compression ratio. Although I do run it with 100 race gas for safety and perhaps better performance if I am running at a track with open pipes.
For street use suitability, I would say it depends on tire selection and how comfortable you are with a full cage. I were to use it on the street on a regular basis, I would be tempted to remove the front half of the cage. So anything you do to make it more suitable for the street makes it more of a compromise for track, IMO. But it would need nothing radical done, unless you need heat, which I assume is not a problem in Texas! Ds

Sorry I forgot to answer directly - until now.
The motor had a $20k "freshening" (now thats REALLY fresh!) this spring. About 10 DE days ago.
And the injection pump was completely redone last year..
The high cost this spring was largely due to the sourcing and machine work required for the aluminium case. And worth every penny, I might add!
No magnesium case blues for the next owner.
