Do some very basic things with 400k and one would see a greater return then 1.5m over 50 years.... especially when you back out the costs to store, maintain, insure and other this car through that time period.

That said, these cars will keep going up... but over the years will dip and then roar back and then dip again with the market/economy. Its the car market.

This is such a great deal and if I had read this 3 months ago I would have bought it. I just got Audi r8 just last month. I have zero regrets, it still continues to amaze me everyday, so far

It's part of a global strategy to revalue the older models. This part of the business was left to non official specialists for decades, and now Porsche would like to have that piece of the pie back. Their prices are pushing the market upwards and upwards. I find that a good thing to be honest. Our cars are becoming more special and will tend to hold their value much longer than most other sportscar.
It is even starting to already make the standard well kept, documented 996 Car into a future classic. If you can reshape and revalue your brand like that. Very Well Done.

I am only concerned that potential buyers should not go blind. They should keep an eye out for what's being offered and be critical. Therebye i mean nothing negative towards the seller of this 993 Turbo S. Everybody is free to ask what they want and these cars are just very rare and wanted.

My concern is that there are lots of dealerships who now step into classics too but have no clew what they are doing. There's a 993 Cup offered for sale at my local dealership for almost 400,000 Euro and by looking at the pictures, i doubt its a real Cup car. That i find worrying because these cars get bought by people trusting their dealerships .......

Would you expect a dealer to say anything but "asking price" or something extremely close to it?
