^you can sand the bottom with; 100, 220, and then 400 grit sandpaper. Then hit it with some 303.

Meh... Is it really worth going through the effort to refinish it when it's almost 100% certain you'll scrape it the next time you go out?

GT3 lips are consumables, like rotors and pads. When I had my 997, I always had a couple new ones in the garage as spares as they would get hammered at the track. 5 min swap, at least on the 997. I wouldn't even give it another thought on this particular car.
