I'm gauging interest on behalf of a very close friend.

Very Rare Porsche 997 X51 parts. I will post photos once I get them.

Whats included:
Porsche X51 Carbon airbox

All intakes and plenum.

Does x51 also include different headers?

Yes, it includes a different intake header along with different intake and exhaust manifolds. It also has a different ECU tune for higher compressio and rev limit. So this listing is a bit of a misrepresentation.

Hi Pete, I just shot an email out to my buddy & waiting on photos of everything, as I understand it includes only the intake headers, but will post and clarify everything so there are no misunderstandings.

Pretty sure the pistons are the same. But the cylinder heads are different for the 997.1 X51. Includes polished ports and different exhaust valves. Do a search in PET for option code IX51 and you will see all the differences.

There are multiple x51 kits. I am very interested. If you can please post a picture of the intake I can provide the forum with a factory part number.

This is what the factory x-51 kit consists of:

• Cylinder heads with flow-optimized intake and exhaust ports
• Intake Manifold & Throttle Body - Increases inlet size from 76 mm to 82 mm
• X51 Headers - larger cross-section and optimized flow behavior
• Carbon Fiber Airbox with two intake channels
• Modified maps for the DME control unit
• Sport Exhaust with Chrome Tips & Dash Switch - (Optional)
• Third Radiator Kit (for manual transmission cars)
• Increased Engine Speed

I have a manual and no third radiator. I believe that list you have is for the 997.1. 997.2 is slightly different. Also no carbon air box at least on the GTS. May have been an option. Yes, correction to my post above. The X51 had different cylinder heads not cylinders.


So to be a complete X51, this listing would also need to include both intake and exhaust manifold along with top end header and ECU tune.
