Looking to sell my 2006 Cayman S in Guards Red located in the Roanoke, VA area. I originally bought this car in September 2016 with 27,038 miles and the car is now sitting just below 31,000 miles. This was a Texas car from the start, I purchased it and had it shipped out to California and then it made another voyage recently when I moved back to Virginia. The car has not been driven in the rain or snow since I took possession and judging from the condition when I purchased, neither had the previous owner(s). Clean title in hand, clean Carfax, clean DME and overall a great car with no issues.
I have some service records for the car including oil changes and a "Major Service" which was changing spark plugs, new tires, new air filter, new cabin filter and a brake flush in 2014 at ~17,000 miles. I have also completed two oil changes with Mobil 0W-40 during my ownership. New battery just installed 3/18/2018. Rotors and pads are in great condition and the tires still have decent life left. The two rear wheels have some curbing from the previous owner.
Car is mechanically stock as of April 2018 (except for Softronic tune). However, the car had Borla exhaust, IPD Competition plenum, GT3 throttle body and Softronic software which were all installed in February 2017 @ roughly 28,000 miles. I still have the mod parts if you would be interested in adding that to the sale. Cosmetically, I put on clear side markers, removed the badging from the rear lid and decided to paint the front bumper "lips" black instead of keeping the stock silver.
Any additional questions/comments/concerns, feel free to PM or email me at jmcollette23@gmail.com

In the ranges 1 and 2, it was most likely a run that bumped into the rev limiter by the previous owner. Here is a useful document that explains the DME results bit better.

The mods I put on the car are fairly common and a pretty "tried and true" setup in my opinion. It gives a great sound (with the exhaust) from the flat 6 and a nice, smooth powerband through the rev range with a bit more oompf.
I didn't drive the car much as the mileage suggests and the mileage was just highway driving to and from work every now and then while also using it to run to the gym on the weekends.

987 gen 1 cayman s (and some 996's) are probably the very best values for the porsche sports car dollar on the market today...

Thank you!
I agree on the combo. I originally wanted a typical black interior but came across this one with the darker brown (as opposed to Sand Beige) and had never seen it before and have really come to love it.

Lowered price to $30,000. Car is back to stock for the mechanical/power mods. However, the Softronic tune is still on the car and the car feels extremely smooth and is the reason I added this in the first place while being able to accommodate stock set up and/or the additional air flow mods. Added some photos of the books and records I have.
