The issues:
- Oil pan is leaking and drips onto the exhaust if it sits for a couple days. Smokes until oil burns off the crossover pipe.
- Car has begun to overheat this summer on the hotter days. Fine while moving, but temps rise sitting at lights. Has new thermostat, could be fans not operating properly.
- Dash has now developed some cracks – has been a TX car most of its life, iirc.
- Paint is good, but minor issues for a car this age.
The good:
Many, many new parts.
Very solid overall condition and runs strong! Shops have even commented on how strong it pulls.
Down tube-back exhaust system. Have the original cat available – TX is just a safety inspection on this car.
Very nice interior. Great seats, door panels, etc.
18” Fikse FM10s and stock phone dials included.
Boost enhancer.
M030 front sway
Zims rebuilt steering rack
For more information, please look at this gallery. Lots of pics of the car showing overall condition.

I don’t really have a specific asking price in mind, but I’m going to say $10k for the mods of the forum. We can discuss. I’m simply out of time for these cars and I need to simplify things at the moment.
Send any questions.

Open to offers from interested parties. Simply need to move the car. Can be/is a nice driver or great track car potential.

sold my '67 GTO last night and bought a Panamera Turbo yesterday. the last piece of the puzzle is to sell my 951.
it does need some maintenance, but it's still a very nice 951 and it pulls strong!! lots of new parts.
will entertain offers. thanks!

Nice car. What’s up with the overheating? I’m in Uptown. Timing belt?

i'm not sure on the overheating. i haven't yet taken it in to have it looked at. i just bought a Panamera turbo and i'm short on time to deal with the 951 at this point. i bought the car from RAC and have driven it for a few years without issue. the overheating could be simple, but i'm not certain.
timing belt was done - maybe 500-1000 miles on the timing belt. i have pics of that work being completed.
if interested, we can set up a time for you to come look it over. i just don't have time for it anymore.
thanks.

I can vouch for the seller - Rich is obsessive about his cars and will tell you about it with 100% full disclosure - won't be anything hidden in a buy. Sharp car and 944 Turbos are dynamite on track days - extremely capable cars that will give mose 911's fits in trying to get around them.
