Good eye. It is indeed a type r with spoon parts. I don’t have much pics of it but I will take some pics when I get the chance.

this is a great deal though, well below market value. i would jump on this in a second if i didn't already own one. it's a blast to drive, one of the best valued cars on the market
Well, you're just saying that because you have sofa seats. GT2 buckets + manual do NOT sit longer.

Owned 2 Spyders - I know the market.

BTW, OP's particular situation is due to a few different factors.

In find gt2 seat more comfy than the basic sofas - the 16 way seats are glorious for street use / 4 way not so much

What are you implying with this?

Nothing. Just that there are reasons why it's taking him longer to sell. For example, it's in Canada, he hasn't listed elsewhere (e.g. autotrader, cars.com, etc.), etc.

My experience has been the opposite. Buckets and 6MT are by far the most desired combo. They don't sell for much more, but they sell in days vs months!

This one would have sold months ago if it had AC (or if AC could be easily retrofitted). It would be in my garage right now. I don't particularly need A/C, but my wife does

Just fyi OP, there's an 11 Spyder at BAT right now and current bid is $50k you may wanna reach out to the colder States that doesn't care for AC or se locally. If my hands are not full at this time she'll be mine in a heartbeat.

Nice find! 4,700 miles though; don't these people drive their cars?

There was a CPO'd Spyder with 6MT and buckets (had AC) and 45,000 miles that sold for $47k with CPO last winter at the RI dealer. It was GR.
