There's no need to give the car away as it's one of the nicer 2007 Turbos I've seen on here.

It's a unique car and has a great build sheet.

Someone will realize how nice it is and will want to actually pay what it's CURRENTLY worth.

50K is a far cry from what this car will fetch next summer (if it's still available).

GLWS!
Appreciate the kind words.

I think the challenge I face, as well as other Porsche sellers, is that most people believe there is no different between cars if they are comparing cars that are the same model. Porsche offers so many options that no two cars are the same and prospective buyers do not take that second step to understand how the car was optioned. All they see are miles and price.

As you mentioned, someone who has done their research and understands Porsche will realize the value of this build.

Additionally, everyone believes the 997 Turbos have bottomed out and are likely going to appreciate. Who knows if they are right/wrong but again, no need/rush for me to sell the car. If its still available next year, then who knows, maybe my asking price will go up with the appreciation! haha

If the offers you are getting are too low (not responding to them?) and your asking price is too high (evidenced by lack of transaction), perhaps adjust your asking price to what you really need for the car and make it firm?

Of course if you really don't care if the car sells, disregard.

Definitely a nice build, but as a seller, are you fully considering the impact of miles?

eg: I would love a PCCB/diff-lock/sport-seat Turbo, but I'd also like a car with fewer miles... I know my own car calculus would consider a car with 30K fewer miles and no carbon brakes or diff lock to be at least the equal of a higher mile, higher option car.

I do agree with you however that you'll likely get as much or more for it next spring as you would right now, perhaps your ask-what-you-want-and-don't-casre-if-it-sells strategy is right for your situation.

Another reason for no rush is because if this sells, I'm just going to buy another toy. There is nothing in this price range at the moment that I feel can compete with the Turbo. All the toys that are "better" than the Turbo are going to be in the over $100K range.

We will see!

Final price decrease by $2,000 to $65,000 FIRM.

If it doesn't sell for this, I will keep the car.

Thanks!

Yeah, I've been continually surprised every time it gets bumped as still available, and have to assume it's simply a mileage thing. Apart from maybe the black color, which I know some won't consider because of the upkeep, it seems almost like a perfectly optioned and upgraded Turbo with good records. Maybe I'm a rare bird who isn't as hung up on mileage as everyone else, but I absolutely would have bought it for the current price had it been around back when I got mine a few years ago.

Way to hold out and be patient.

I knew it would sell eventually...

Congrats! Hope it all proceeds as planned. The new owner should be proud of this one.
