that would be a tough find, but they do exist.

well yes and no.
at this price level there are not many buyers.
but then there aren't many cars like this one.
sales at these number do exist. i really would take this car but i have too many RS coming and i can only work 24/7 to pay for so many of them....

much like RS4.0
some do not know the real numbers. i can assure u that i have seen money changing hands at $750k area. and not just one instance either!

so superb cars do exist and big collectors will eat them up.

but i hope OP keep the car and perhaps when i sell one of my kids, i can hit him up and add the 993!

I'd enjoy seeing some evidence or verification of a C2S selling for nearly $200k recently. It seems like no matter the high price point, someone will always swear they know a guy who just paid that for one and was happy to do so.

This. I love and respect you Mooty but I'd also love to see a 750k RS 4.0. Mean come on. Do you expect me to really buy that one? I mean really?

I have been offered a handful of sub 1000 mile cars in the 550-685k range. There are a few PTS 4.0 out there. Some guys want to pay double for delivery miles, not me. I enjoy driving my 4.0.

only takes one guy to buy it.

if we only have one car to sell, that's a big problem. rather ask high because most likely there won't be a replacement when it's gone. i tend to keep them in pair so i have something left to play with. gotta love no sunroof 911

I don't know what the true market is for a non turbo 993 but I can tell you that a dealer offered me a 991 GT3 for my 1996 993.

from this figure, we know 750k on 4.0 is not far stretch. and while some may not believe, that's ok. they do sell. we have 3 rs4.0 each < than 50 miles. yes, NEVER driven. while i do drive mine, some ppl prefer cars with extremely low miles and willing to pay for them.

and at some point, cars are not cars. that's something many dont understand. why is Goog $700. you merely bought a piece of paper really. but in this case the paper is not really a piece of paper. just like a car is not really a car and a painting is not oil on canvas.

hell i just sold my NOS ML6B for $95,000 USD to a crazy korean collector who already has 7 pairs of ML6B. (that's a two input pre-amp).

======>
now that's one extreme..
the other side, we have taken delivery of 991RS at discount too......
equally as unbelievable.

but we should get back to joe's 1998 C2S

Happy to read you are enjoying the 4.0 CJ and driving it.

I don't get these asking prices for the 991RS's....

Back on subject:
Beautiful car, I have the same Arctic Silver in a 97' 993TT.
It's a keeper for me.

There are a few people on rennlist that I do not question...Mooty at the top of the list.

I sold a 13k mile arena red 993 turbo for 175k earlier this year...would rather have this C2S. Absolutely beautiful car and well preserved by owner.

Plus there was that 11k-mile TTS in the rare violet paint that sold for $442k a few weeks ago. That should be relevant to pricing a C2S with more miles somehow, too.
