Yes, still for sale.
I think we're stuck in that "Seller isn't that motivated" and "Buyers want to negotiate" mode. Mooty would have been all over it, but not with the third eye (sports chrono). Couple of people wanted sport buckets, vs. the "million-way" seats. I get pinged occasionally on it, but haven't been pushing too hard.
Still hasn't seen the track, and won't. Clean on overrevs, too.
Isringhausen sold one at this price point last year, and there is one with 7K miles, track time, but some spares (wheels and tires) for sale for about the same $$, so I don't think I'm too far off.
With the 991RS specs leaked, with PDK only, I suspect the manual boxes in the 997's won't get any less valuable.
How are you liking your "new to you" 997RS? Fitted it with snow tires yet?

If this guy is getting pounded over his price can't wait to see what happens to that 997.1 RS just listed
The RS market is equally as entertaining as the stock market. Can't wait to see what the values of both are in 2 years. Stock market might be 25k or 10k. RS might be 250 or 100. Life is a trip.

IMO when you ask extreme prices for these Porsches you hurt the market. If you want an investment buy real estate or stock. You drive the prices so high very few of us can interact and for the most part we are the ones who will appreciate and take care of the car for years not just a couple of months or a year or two.All of you fortunate to have RS or to have sold 50 or more!!! of them Probably don't mind the crazy prices.Am I whining? You Bet- Get Real

When the worst thing that happens to me in a day is a few guys comment that my car is priced to high, it's a good day. ;-)
Cheers!

messy,
Short answer - yes. I don't have any $$ in my pocket yet.
Longer answer - I am in discussions with one Rennlister, but the delay is on me, not him. He wants an overrev report and some more pics - both reasonable requests. I got some more pics when I was in Seattle for a race this weekend, but still haven't made it to the mechanics for an overrev report.
It's part of the catch 22 of this car. I actually had an appointment to go in to one of the Porsche mechanics in Bellevue (who are actually good friends, too), then got hung up with work, plus it rained. The car doesn't go out in the rain.... ;-) Yup, I'm "that guy".
Sunday was a typical beautiful Seattle day - and now the car has 30 more miles on it...
Yes, that was a long answer to a simple question.

"I'll pay your esteemed full asking price, any pay using paypal, with my personal agent picking the car up at your location. I will include my agents fee of $5000US Dollars, if you would be so kind to remunerate to him"
Does anyone fall for these? I guess the case can be made that someone would, or they wouldn't keep doing it.
Sheeessshhhh.... ;-)
