Thanks for the comments guys, I have some clarification on the options listing not being exactly like the car. The build sheet we pull with the VIN has a few options on it that were not originally equipped to the car, there were some changes made right before production and the internal build sheet does not reflect this change. The actual window sticker to the car has the exact options and does not include yellow belts, painted vents and the options in question.

We're a nice regular 997.2 GT3 (115k) over the price that PNHouston asked for a Riv/Mexico blue 3RS earlier this year. This one appears to be marginally nicer as they admitted the other one had some minor track use but has the market really moved that far in a few months?
Anyways -- my genuine offer is 200k and I'll buy the yellow seat belts it's missing myself.

1. geoff's car will get the asking. too meany experts here. but some of us actually have owned a few dozen RS and numerous PTS RS.
2. as much as i love geoff's car. i wont say thats nicer than the one sold by PNH earlier. that car was owned by 3 very well known RLsters, and i am one of the three. that car commands a serious premium tracked or not. and the current owner who just posted is as much an RS expert as anyone alive on earth, from 73RS to 991RS. the fact that he has the car now tells you the provenance of that car. i think he just rejected my 250 offer. damn it.
3. value of RS... you got to be kidding. they are of no value. some moron just paid 100+ for a garden variety 911 carerra of the 80's vintage.... so how's 300k RS out of line. i only wish i held off my RS and sold them a year later.
let's leave the price alone. and send in offers to buy if interested.
4. and no, i have no RS for sale anymore. i only sell to dealers who dont ask so many questions.

I'm 99% sure that's my friend's old car that he purchased new. He did all the changes to the car (roll cage, powder coating, clear bra, etc, etc, etc). It's very well documented and he took great care of the car!
I look forward to telling him what it's listed for

What museum is this car heading to? i know people frown on pricing comments but at what price do your render these car's useless?
You cant drive this car on a track ever again after paying anywhere near the asking price...
Let alone insure it properly...
I think Porsche should start making two versions of every gt car if this is the case... A track only version and a collector's only version...
