Some detail about what actually happened would likely be good to help someone make a decision. Pictures, details of the repair process all would go along way to helping someone make an educated decision.

Not all accidents are fatal or detrimental to future ownership of the car. Yes it hurts resale value but if it is structurally and mechanically sound it is still a good option for someone that wants to keep and drive one for more than the 18 months to 2 years it seems most around here are interested in owning them. A wrinkled fender and some paint work isn't the ruination of a car.

And that's fine. But someone else may see it as an opportunity to get in to one at a more reasonable price point if the damage was mostly cosmetic in nature. If the car was tumbled down and embankment then that's a different animal. That is why the nature of the reported accident is important to the equation.

The best way to tell is to see the work in person and have it verified by a 3rd party collison shop.

Offers buy cars , comments do not. No offense.

many factors when it comes to resale - 1. Is the car currently in better , same or worst condition. 2. which is higher - supply or demand?

hey not a problem.. good luck with your search. I'll try and get more information from the shop that did the work or maybe i could have it inspected through a local center.
