When are you considering the trade-in? I'm about 1-2 weeks away from making a decision.

Need some flexibility. Have found a number of cars that I am interested in purchasing but they are 500+ miles away. I do not want to have to drive the Turbo there with the chance they will not offer me what they verbally indicate they will.

3M clear bra has been removed.

New firm price of $69K.

If I find what I want within 200 miles of me then I will drive it there and trade it in.

You should be able to negotiate remotely and paper the deal w/o having to drive the car there. I test drove and did a visual inspection on an S6 for a friend in another state who did the negotiation over the phone. It was CPO'd so he passed on the PPI but could have had it performed. Locked in the trade-in value of his C4 and had both vehicles put on transporters (buyer paid). The trade-in value of your TT, from a dealers perspective, can be determined w/in a few bucks based on a limited set of variables (miles, paint/body work, color, options). They'll either keep it or auction it, so its not big deal for them. They'll either want to do a deal w/you or they won't. If they're willing to confirm numbers in writing, it might be worth pursuing. It's not foolproof; no contact is even when you're negotiating w/the dealer in you home town. But it's certainly doable. Great deal, BTW. GLWS.

Are you still meeting my buddy for PPI at Rockville? I turned him on to this car - it's too good to pass up...

Thanks Chris. I must say it was quite tough watching it leave my house but I am so happy for Steve.
